All Sunming Lighting products carry a minimum 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong, we'll make it right. Fast.
What's Covered
Manufacturing defects
Our warranty covers faults that arise from the way a product was made, not from the way it was used.
- Faulty wiring or electrical components
- Finish defects (peeling, rusting, discolouration) from manufacture
- Structural failures under normal use
- LED modules failing within warranty period
- Missing or incorrect parts on delivery
What's Not Covered
Wear and misuse
The warranty does not cover damage caused by installation errors, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
- Damage from incorrect installation
- Damage from using wrong globe wattage
- Accidental damage, impact, or vandalism
- Outdoor fittings used in unsuitable locations
- General wear, discolouration from sunlight or cleaning
Making a Claim
Simple, straightforward process
We've deliberately kept our claims process as frictionless as possible. No call centre, no lengthy forms.

Email info@sunminglighting.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the fault.
We assess your claim
Our team reviews your claim within 2 business days and confirms whether it's covered under warranty.
Replacement or refund
For approved claims, we'll send a replacement product or issue a full refund. Your choice. We cover all associated shipping costs.
Legal
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our 12-month warranty is in addition to these statutory rights, not a replacement for them.
